Q: Should I call my insurance company before I call a roofing company?
A: Not necessarily. If you are unsure of the damage you may or may not think you have, your
insurance company will consider it a claim against your policy even if the claim is not paid out
on. This is where APC Services can help. Call us and we can come out and take a look at your
roof to access the damage before you file a claim. If we do find damage, our team of roofing
experts will be happy to come out and meet with the insurance adjuster to help assist them
with the damages. Our goal is to assist in every step of the claim filing and findings process.
A claim should be filed under the correct “cause of loss”. This is also important in the way the

Q: Do I get the depreciation cost back?
A: In many cases, yes. The depreciation is usually held on a residential policy claim. It is
unfortunate, that many homeowners commonly miss out on thousands of dollars because the
